Happy Birthday to me!

Today is my 4th Birthday! Happy Birthday to me!

Unfortunately the weather is really horrid :-( Muzzle was hoping to take me to the woods for a lovely walk but she has postponed because of the awful wind and rain. Said it's not good to be around so many trees in case one falls on us!

Muzzle did bring me some free-range chicken in bed earlier though, which I ate snuggled under my blanket. Nom!

Birthday Walk

Thank you for my birthday wishes :) Muzzle arranged a little walk for me yesterday to celebrate my birthday with some great people and lovely dogs!

I got to play with my new ball and had a great run around. It was cold and frosty but a nice, dry, sunny winters day!



We stopped at the pub so that our people could have a coffee and then we walked back again. On the drive home we picked up some more logs and kindling so Muzzle could make us a nice warm fire. Perfect day :-)

Here are a few of the other dogs that joined us, including Jasper, who Muzzle, Daddy and I went to collect on New Year's Eve to foster for Oldies Club. I'll post about him separately soon as he deserves his own post.

This is Jess, who was adopted from Oldies Club :) She came along with her mum and dad and is as ball obsessed as me, maybe even a little more?! We think she is a very pretty girl.

This is Freddie, one of the Bassets that joined us on the walk. She was rather keen to get near the water and we're not sure how she avoided falling in at times (if you look at the link to more photos below, you'll see what I mean!).

Happy Birthday to Me!

Muzzle tells me that it's my birthday today! I am now two years old! She says I have grown into a wonderful, beautiful, adorable girl - here's a photo she took yesterday of my mature self LOL


Muzzle and Daddy bought me a new collar for my birthday - it's pink and rather "bling" and makes me look a bit like a cat so but Muzzle says at least people hopefully won't think I am a boy now! She thinks I am far too pretty to look like a boy but lots of people seem to assume I'm a boy because I'm black. Weird!

I think I also have a new rubber ball on a rope, will find out tomorrow on my birthday walk!

Just wanted to wish my baby Minnie-Moo a wonderful birthday. She really is the most gorgeous, wonderful girl and we love her so very much. I remember when I read about her litter being born in rescue when the puppies were just days old. So hard to believe that was two years ago. Shows how time flies when you have a beautiful little girl in your life.

Happy Birthday Sno!

It's my brother's birthday today, he's ten. He's lived here for just over five years, so longer than me, since he was adopted from rescue, just like I was. He's my buddy, we like running together.

It's my birthday!

This weekend was my birthday weekend. Muzzle said I am now ONE. That sounds grown up!

I had a great weekend. Daddy made some little doggie cakes for us - mine is the one that has a one in ketchup on it.


I had some great walks, charging around the woods with my friends and my favourite toy. You can just make me out in the leaves!


Muzzle said this is my impression of a dancing little black kangaroo. I don't know what she means!


I like my toy.


And practiced looking beautiful - though Muzzle says I don't need any practice, I'm just perfect.


I haven't got dandruff by the way - there was some weird little bits of white stuff falling out of the sky. Muzzle said it is snow and she is hoping for more as she said it's fun! I like fun!

Yesterday I was taken to the pet shop to choose a new toy. Muzzle took different toys off the shelf to see what I thought - I got very excited about an Air Kong ring as I like Air Kong toys, so she said I could have that. She also got me another ball on a rope in case she manages to throw my current one into a big hedge again and lose it!

The ring was meant to be mine - but my big brother seemed to have other ideas!

When we were out walking over the weekend, we saw some other animals in the field nearby. Muzzle took some photos - though the deer were quite far away so they're not the best photos.


We also visited a little lake (or is it a big pond?!) which was completely frozen over. The ducks seemed a bit confused ...
