Nearly the weekend

Hello all,

We have had a worrying week as my older brother Jasper has a poorly heart and as you can imagine, Muzzle and Daddy are worried :(

Jasper is on meds and has another vet check in a couple of weeks. He's still got a good appetite and zest for life and as we always have, are counting each day with him as a blessing.

Time to make Muzzle smile

Muzzle has been very, very sad since we had to say goodbye to dear Cassie. We have been taking Muzzle out for walks and this week she felt up to taking some photos of me playing chase/bounce with one of my brothers. He is 11 and still up for playing :) She also took a little video clip. Hope you enjoy.

Calendar Girl

One of my puppy photos has been chosen for a calendar being organised to raise funds for rescue.

The photo came second place to a very cute photo of a teeny pup having a bath!

Fun Friday

Muzzle took this video of me running around with one of my brothers today - we have great fun together when we do this and Muzzle loves to watch us :-)

We've put it on here at the smallest setting but it still seems too big for my blog! If you click on the video it should take you to YouTube to view it there properly. Muzzle says 720p HD is good.

Muzzle took this one of me today - she loves me :-)

Have had a great day, after our walk this morning I spent hours in the woods having fun too! It was nice and shaded there so I didn't get too hot.

Out for lunch

Yesterday Muzzle and Dad took me and Jasper, my Oldies Club brother, out to visit a garden. They had a cream tea and saved us each a little piece of the scone. Yummy!

Since Muzzle is usually behind the camera and not fond of being photographed, Dad took hold of the camera for a little while for a change and photographed us with Muzzle. We like this photo :-)


It was a beautiful garden and dogs are welcome, but we have to stay on lead. I usually want to charge around at the sight of lots of grass so it was a bit confusing for me but still fun!

Yumega Plus - Muzzle has been giving this to me for a little while now to help with my allergies. I like it - it tastes of fish.

Autumn Fun

Muzzle and Daddy took me to a forest yesterday with one of my brothers. Lots of leaves had fallen off the trees - Muzzle called it Autumn? - and it was great fun running around in the leaves chasing my ball.



My brother had a fun time too apart from a few scary noises.

A new friend

Muzzle took me to visit a friend of hers earlier this week, they have moved to a really lovely place and we got to go on some great walks. It was so nice we could have stayed!

I met Muzzle's friend's daughter for the first time. She is really sweet and very dog friendly - they have dogs of their own too. She was persuaded to sit for a photo with me - she was dressed as Fireman Sam at the time. We had a great afternoon, hope to go again :-)

Woe is Minnie-Moo

I have hayfever! Muzzle took me to the vets and they said I had an ear infection and gave me some eardrops, but she wasn't sure that was what it was, so we saw another vet - and he diagnosed hayfever, which was the sort of thing Muzzle had been wondering about too.

So, I have a homeopathic remedy mix that Muzzle gives me twice a day - I'm not very keen on it, especially as I can't have a treat straight afterwards. See, woe is me. My ears are a bit sore so she has some oil to put on them each day too. I am also having some local honey on my food, though Muzzle says we will need to start doing all this much earlier next year, now that we know what's up.

We are hoping all these things will help me as I enjoy running in the fields too much to stop it and Muzzle says stopping me from running and having fun wouldn't be good for my health either.

Dummy

Yesterday Muzzle and Daddy took me with them when Muzzle went to photograph a friend and her dogs.

I watched one of the dogs working with a training dummy and wanted to have a go, so their friend gave me one of the dummies (to keep, lucky me!) and I had a go at retrieving from the water. I love to retrieve and Muzzle said that tempted me a bit further into the water than I would usually go.

It may not have been quite how the "pros" do it, but we had great fun ...


I love my new toy!

Fun Times

Had a lovely walk today, met a little dog we meet sometimes and we had a good sniff and a play together and then a chill out. Muzzle said I was good and just used a firm paw to put him in his place when he was jumping at my face - she said it wasn't his fault he is so little and couldn't reach without jumping LOL.

We stopped for a rest while Muzzle and Daddy were talking with the little one's mum and Muzzle thought this made a really cute photo.


Then I had another play with my brother - Muzzle said it was good to see me being my usual calm self ...


LOL, she calls it my enthusiasm for life and loves me (lots) for it.
