Out for lunch

Yesterday Muzzle and Dad took me and Jasper, my Oldies Club brother, out to visit a garden. They had a cream tea and saved us each a little piece of the scone. Yummy!

Since Muzzle is usually behind the camera and not fond of being photographed, Dad took hold of the camera for a little while for a change and photographed us with Muzzle. We like this photo :-)

It was a beautiful garden and dogs are welcome, but we have to stay on lead. I usually want to charge around at the sight of lots of grass so it was a bit confusing for me but still fun!

Strange thing in the garden

Muzzle was taking some photos in the garden earlier for Daddy. She was photographing this wooden box thing so I went to take a look and she caught me in one of the photos.

I thought there might be something exciting inside like food or toys, but no such luck, according to Daddy it contains music! It's something called a Coolidge Amp, which makes his guitar louder. He likes it anyway.

I thought it would be more interesting to pose for a few photos myself, so here I am:

Muzzle says I look as though I'm laughing in this one:

Mango, it wasn't about the monkey, honest!

In our garden

Muzzle took lots of photos of us in the garden at the weekend as it was nice and sunny. I thought we'd share some ...

We took our Air Kong toys outside to play - Mr Moo and I have one each, exactly the same, but he tries to steal mine. At one time he had them both but still manages to look as though butter wouldn't melt!
We both ran after the toy - sometimes he got there first

Other times I did! Muzzle says I am probably faster than him but he is very quick and nimble for a ten year old and often gets to the toy first.

Here's a shot of my brother that Muzzle really likes. She says he looks very thoughtful (he's probably wondering about dinner!).

Here's me posing with my toy:

And in front of the bluebells - though I seem to have a bit of a blue tint to me in this one!

And here are a few photos of flowers in the garden - I don't eat these ones though.

We have had lots of rain today which hasn't been as much fun :-(

Muzzle wants to set up a pet photography business - we think she's great and other people do too!

Our Garden Friend

Muzzle has a friend in the garden called Robin. I think there might be more than one but they look the same!

They like eating tuna cake - that's the tuna cake that Muzzle makes for us dogs, but the Robin comes to the kitchen window and sits staring at Muzzle until she takes a little cake out for him/her. They've got her wrapped around their tiny feet, not like poor, hard-done-by, deprived *me*!

They are quite cute though, aren't they?

We went for our walk today, but Muzzle didn't take *any* decent photos of me! It was getting dark and it was a bit miserable and Daddy had to spend ten minutes rescuing my ball-on-a-rope from a big spiky hedge after Muzzle did one of her spectacular backwards/upwards throws. Does anyone else have a mother that can't throw?

Anyway, no photos of me but we quite like this photo of a lovely tree in the sunset ...

Hopefully Muzzle will be back to "normal" (for her!) this week and will have some good photos of me again.
