Remember little Minnie who was named after me and was under the care of Dogstar Foundation in Sri Lanka? Very sadly she contracted parvo, just like her brother Wiggle and she passed away just a few days ago.
Sri Lankan Minnie was Muzzle and Dad's little sponsor pup - we are all very sad about Minnie and our thoughts are with Dogstar.
Sleep tight little ones.

Duke and Sri Lankan Minnie
Yesterday Muzzle took a few photos of a friend's dog - we think he is very handsome so thought we would show you a photo ...

We also wanted to share some photos of my namesake, Minnie, who is being cared for by Dogstar in Sri Lanka. The money raised through my recent Minnie-Moo card auction paid for her rabies vaccination and some food. She is beautiful isn't she?
Her skin and coat haven't been in the best of condition but Dogstar are taking great care of her. Muzzle is sending her Reiki (healing) and asks anyone reading this to send some healing thoughts Minnie's way too please. Thank you :-)
Pretty Minnie:

We will be following her progress - if you would like to read more about Minnie and the other animals helped by Dogstar, checkout this blog and the main Dogstar Foundation website (link in my links section). Dogstar is amazing.

Naked - and last chance reminder
I have been helping Muzzle in the garden this after. She's been taking photos of Daddy's guitars (not sure why, surely that's not as exciting as taking photos of me?!) but she took a few shots of me too.
Dexter, you might need to calm yourself before you look at them - Muzzle took my collar off and I'm NAKED.
Also, a quick reminder/last plug for the fabulous greetings cards that feature photos of yours truly (that's me, that is!) which Muzzle and I are auctioning to raise money for Dogstar, in Sri Lanka. The auction ends tomorrow at 9pm.
Muzzle is happy to post them to anywhere in the world and she is covering the postage costs. More details HERE.

Minnie-Moo cards for sale!
Remember recently I told you about little Minnie, a pup born in Sri Lanka and being cared for by Dogstar Foundation? She was named after me.
I said then that Muzzle and I wanted to do something to try to raise a little money to donate to Dogstar. Well Muzzle takes some great photos as some of you know and she has had some printed as greetings cards, which she sells through a little business she has, so she's decided to do a little blog auction of a few of her cards, with the highest bidder to donate the money to Dogstar.
Here are the cards we've chosen - there are five, glossy photo greetings cards - they are A5 size when folded, so a good size. They come with an envelope and are blank inside so you can add your own message.
There's one each of the following designs - the first four feature yours truly, from eight weeks up, the last one is my brother Max on the beach (one of Muzzle's favourite ever photos!). You can click on the photos to see larger versions. Muzzle has given me a copy of the photo used and also a photo of the card itself so you can see how it looks as a card.

OK, now to the important part - raising money :)
You can bid from anywhere in the world provided you can pay by PayPal as Muzzle will ask you to pay Dogstar direct - Muzzle will cover the cost of postage and she will post the cards out once Dogstar confirm they've received payment.
If you would like to bid, please just post your bid in the comment box. Please bid in British £ to keep it simple (Muzzle says you can check out currency conversions at XE).
Bidding for the set of five cards to start at £2 please.
(as a guide, each card usually sells for up to £2.50).
The auction will end at 9pm (British time) on Monday 4 May 2009 and the last and highest bid to be posted on here before that time will be the winning bidder. Payment to be made via PayPal within seven days.
Muzzle is also going to post about this on a forum, so if she receives any bids from there, she will add them as a comment herself.
We really hope some of my blogging friends will join in this auction as it would be great to raise some money to help little Minnie and her friends at Dogstar.
Thank you for reading :) Any questions, please ask!

Minnie in Sri Lanka!
Sam, a wonderful woman that Muzzle knows, visited Sri Lanka a few years ago and ended up setting up an amazing animal welfare organisation called the Dogstar Foundation - which you can read about here. Dogstar arranges neutering clinics for both stray and pet dogs and cats in Sri Lanka.
Recently, a stray dog had puppies and one of the puppies has been named after me! Another is named after my LRSEC lab pal Wiggle! You can read about them here. Their sister Coco was very sadly killed this week after being hit by a car :-(((
Here's a photo of one of the pups - Sam said that Minnie and Wiggle look so similar they're not sure which this is, but they're very cute either way!

We are so excited that one of the pups has been named after me! Muzzle wishes she had lots of money to give Dogstar, but she doesn't at the moment. She is going to try to think of something to raise a little money for Minnie though. I'll report back soon.
Take a look at Dogstar's blog/site if you have a few minutes, it's truly wonderful what the organisation does.

Greetings card auction for Dogstar
Muzzle knows Sam, a woman who started up a wonderful non-profit organisation called Dogstar, which works in Sri Lanka to help some of the dogs there.
Muzzle decided to donate some of her photo greeting cards to raise funds for Dogstar - you can see the cards here. The auction is running until 9pm on Wednesday 11 February 2009.
You can read more about Dogstar through one of Sam's blogs - Muzzle cried when she first saw the photo of Shep, the puppy. He is looking a lot better now thanks to Dogstar and its volunteers.
Along with every other animal welfare organisation, Dogstar could really do with some extra funds at the moment, so do send them something if you have any to spare :)
