On a film set!

Today it was Muzzle's birthday and we went for a really wet walk - well we didn't intend for it to be really wet, but it was anyway. Muzzle only took a few photos before she decided it was too wet for the camera.

After the walk, we came home and got dried and then I went out with Muzzle and Daddy again, to a village where the BBC is filming a Christmas special of its period drama, Cranford. We got to walk down some of the streets they are using for the show and most exciting of all, Muzzle and Dad's friend was being filmed! He is a blacksmith and the other day the BBC phoned Muzzle to see if he was free today to be filmed in a few scenes that featured a blacksmith.

We saw him all dressed up in "old" clothes and there was also a horse and cart being driven around - I was very good and sat quietly while Muzzle took lots of photos. She's going to put some on her blog later.

Here are a few Minnie-Moo-related photos though.

Me crossing the street to the bakery with Daddy - we waited outside while Muzzle went in to buy some cake! (and an ice cream - and I got the end of the cornet!).

My dainty wet paw prints on the pavement ...

Face in a hole challenge!

Thank you to everyone that entered my challenge - what fun it has been!

So sorry it has taken us so long to sort through the entries - blame Muzzle and her need to try to earn some money to keep us fed! We still don't have a winner but we will have in a day or so. It's Muzzle's birthday tomorrow and we'll be back on the case on Thursday.

We have decided to post our favourite entry from each blog as otherwise we'd have about 50 entries to post. We had so many wonderful entries - if you look below, you will understand why it's taken so long to get through them (and these are with just one from each blog LOL).

So here are the entries, in approximate alphabetical blogger order ... hopefully we haven't missed any of those that were posted as a link on my blog (we even found one or two in our travels), but if you entered before the closing date and we have missed you, please post a link to your entry, in a comment on this thread and we will check it out.

We will *hopefully* announce the winner on Thursday - it's going to be a tough choice, Muzzle says she may get me to choose a winner because she's having problems deciding!

On Folksy

Muzzle had an email earlier and when she clicked on the link, she saw a familiar face:

She called this one Mummy's girl. We both got very excited! :-))

Early walks

We're going out for earlier walks than usual because it's so hot here (well hot for us Brits anyway, Muzzle said!).

I had a bit of a run around this morning before it got too hot:

and then my brother caught the scent of something. Not sure what.

It was a really nice walk and we got home before it got *too* hot.

Also, I've told Muzzle to start her own blog so she can use it for more of her photos. She will still including photos of me on it though - after all I'm her star model!
